Georgie saw the sheared and degraded red-haired girl in the town square, persecuted only for loving one another. All contributed to the Nazi's red skin.
Georgie and Max were shocked by the shame of violence they witnessed in Berlin. Horrified by the - Nazi - backed - militia - openly vandalizing, destroying and enjoying the power of their violence, without fear of punishment.
As the light rose on the berlin of 10th November 1938, of the Nazi hatred against Jews became clear.
