Madame Pommery's husband passed away leaving behind his failing wool and wine business. Monsieur Greno owns half the business and he must be paid as well as she had a mortage on the building to be paid along with the payment of her son's education.  Madame Pommery had dedicated her life to the orphanage started by her at the Saint Remi Auxillary.
