  MY THOUGHTS AND BOOK REVIEW  "DYING TO BAKE" by author Helen Golden takes her readers into the high setting and plot of the Bake off wars competition a popular television show, hosted by the Francis Court  estate princess and Duke. The novel opens with the shocking death of Vera Bolt the 66 year old pastry chef known as the Queen of Bakes who had been found dead at the old barn. The intriguing question is to find out who would want to hurt Vera Bolt? Lady Beatrice who is shocked by the murder knew that it didn't happen to look like an accident. The incident of sticking the knife into Vera Bolt by the killer looked more personal than trying to cover up it up. The main character is Lady Beatrice, the Countess of Rossex who is torn between her promise to DCI Richard Fitzwilliam to stay out of the investigation and her brother Fred's desperate plea to clear his new love interest, Summer York, of suspicion.
