MY THOUGHTS AND BOOK REVIEW This book is very helpful if you are looking to know more about Jesus Christ our Savior. A great read to flip through during this Christmas season to deepen one's understanding about Jesus Christ. Main points include: Birth of Jesus, How the old testament pointed forward to Jesus Coming, How Jewish people were expecting the Messiah to arrive, Jesus was not merely human. He was also fully God. The writer Hebrews declares Jesus to be "the radiance of God's Glory and the exact representation of his being" (Hebrews 1:3). He is the exact representation of God, God is after his own Glory, Jesus, the king of king was bringing God's kingdom to this earth. 1)Jesus taught about the kingdom and 2)he demonstrated the kingdom, Jesus was our substitute. The old testament pointed toward the eventual sacrifice of Jesus. Jesus was sent on a mission to save sinners and restore the world, Jesus accomplished reconciliation at the cross- gospel of Mark wr...
